Precautions for Using Plunger Pumps

• ​Combination gaskets must be installed at the oil inlet and outlet of the pump. After the pipe joint is connected, apply a layer of grease on the outside to prevent air from entering.
• Before use, the oil return hole must be filled with oil; otherwise, the pump will be worn out instantly due to cavitation.
• After filling oil and connecting all pipes, idle the pump for 10 minutes before applying pressure. This can discharge the residual air in the pump and pipes.
• A filter screen or filter element must not be installed at the oil inlet of the plunger pump; otherwise, it will cause insufficient oil suction of the plunger pump and result in damage. The filter screen can be installed in the oil tank or at the oil outlet
